What are they & why should I care?
A solid state drive will improve the computer’s performance up to 400x, even an older computer fitted with an SSD rather than a conventional hard drive will yield performances never thought possible.
But they are expensive!
Yes, they are. However you don’t need an SSD for large data storage, you only need it to run the operating system (Windows / OSx) and for data storage a secondary Hard Drive can be used.
